In a bridal party this year? You’re in luck because so am I! I am going to be doing a few blog posts over the next few months about how to best support your bride. I have been meaning to write more lifestyle posts and I can’t think of a better way to jumpstart this category of my blog than speaking on this. This first one is a bit of a story time about which bachelorette gifts for the bride that my group of girls chose.
Christina has been my best friend since elementary school! We met way back and have stayed close ever since. I was with her when she met Ryan during our spring break trip and here we are 3 years later! She asked me to be her maid of honor in the fall and I, of course, said yes. Now there is a lot going on in the next few months and I am really excited to help her through this journey.
This past month has been insane for me! I have traveled far and wide and one of my favorites stops was Scottsdale, Arizona for Christina’s Bachelorette Weekend. This was my first time getting to meet some of the bridesmaids and our whole group got along so well. We were able to stay at Christina’s grandparents’ home in Chandler, Arizona. My favorite thing about the trip was that it was really relaxing. We spent a lot of time laying out by the pool and enjoying the sunshine. We had an amazing time getting to know each other over delicious meals, team-bonding hikes, and pooldays.
How To Create A Group Gift For The Bride
Leading up to the trip, I decided to get everyone together on a group gift basket of curated bachelorette gifts for the bride. This was really a complicated task as we are all working together to decide what we felt would be the best gift for her. We decided to get her items that she would be able to use on her honeymoon to Greece. I then scoured the web for all the best items and created an excel sheet for people to add ideas. Then I sent out a survey to the bridesmaids so we could pick all of our favorite items for her. The survey also asked people about their budget so I could choose a price range. These gifts are great to wear in the time leading up to the wedding like at bridal showers, reception and even on the honeymoon. They are perfect for an occasion like this and great for a Kodak moment!

This ended up being the perfect gift because it screams bride without actually saying it. There are so many events leading up to the wedding, especially the week of. Gifting a white dress is a great way to prepare your bride and save her an unnecessary trip to the mall. Having a bridal party is like having your own set of personal stylists. This is the perfect time to put those skills to use, ladies! We especially loved the dress that we chose for Christina because she can also wear it in Greece on her honeymoon and literally any time after that.

Lingerie is one of the essential bachelorette gifts for the bride. A woman never owns as much lingerie as she will just after being married—it’s a classic gift. We chose a classic white set that had cute blue bows on it. This was a great choice because it is fitting for any bride. We picked it out from AdoreMe which offers so many adorable sets at a great price point (they also come as a full set). I also loved the options from Shopbop (for a more luxury set), Amazon (for the lowest price), and Revolve. It definitely depends on your group and what else you are gifting.

This L.L. Bean item is a favorite in many homes and it is the perfect pool or beach bag. Our bride is moving to a tropical location post-wedding. Since she will be getting to spend a lot of days on the beach or at the pool during her free time, this was the perfect item for us to include. Even if your bride lives in frigid temperatures like me, the gift is still great for weekend trips and summer pool days. Personalizing items with the bride’s new initials is a great way to add a personal touch. It was one of her favorite gifts and she began using it immediately. If your bride has chosen a tropical destination for her honeymoon, it’s a great item she can take along with her.

This is the perfect item to go in tandem with the bag. When moving into a new house, who doesn’t need a beach towel. Again featuring the initials makes this item bittersweet and classic. I have seen people add a monogram of the wedding date to these types of items and that is a great way to add some personal touch.

We discussed many different skincare options that the bride and thought about giving a gift from brands like Drunk Elephant and Fresh. After a lot of thought, and knowing our bride has sensitive skin, we opted for a Sephora gift card instead. Beauty and makeup options are great to include in a package like this. If you know exactly what your bride uses or likes, this is the perfect time to include these items. If you are unsure at all, a gift card will certainly do the trick. We also included a Drybar gift card for the perfect blowout pre-bridal shower. Some beauty gift cards are the bachelorette gifts for the bride that she will definitely need leading up to her special day (and for her honeymoon!)

As you know, I am obsessed with the hair clips trend and bring it up in any possible conversation. This could be a great item to add to your cart since it is quick easy and a great price. I love the white pearl options for a bride because they are elegant, chic, and will match her dress and basically go with everything.
Decor
I really recommend purchasing your decorations for the gift-giving portion of the bachelorette party from Amazon. Stores like Party City and Target price things like this up because they know you are going to buy it for your party no matter what. You can also buy sets of bride-themed decorations which will give you an overall discount.
So those are some great options to gift your bride during the bachelorette party! Yes, a lot of people choose sexual innuendo gifts for weddings but I think those are best selected and gifted individually instead of as a group.
