That’s what I would have said if you mentioned her to me before last night. But after her THIRTEEN bazaar outfit changes at the MTV European Music Awards last night, Rita is the name on everybody’s lips.
Hosting an awards show sounds to me like the most terrifying job ever. It’s a huge responsibility so most celebrities who are chosen for the job take the experience very seriously. Rita gave us a sense of comic relief through her iconic “outfit” or lack thereof.
When my potentially existing future children ask me “What happend in 2017?” I think this is the photo I am going to have to pull out. It pretty much sums up the year to me. Fashion has become comical and we don’t care what people think anymore. It’s cool to be relatable and this look is exactly that. Bathrobes are trending on Instagram! I keep seeing beautiful girls in a bathrobe with a towel on their head sitting on a balcony surrounded by breakfast foods at fancy hotels. Where is this really coming from?
I think what separates this from other bathrobe looks is the $7.8 Million diamond necklace and the perfect stiletto heels. That’s something your local Instagram model can’t really copy.
